Is surfing the american dream?

Postby tbone16 on Wed Aug 13, 2008 12:07 am

I keep leaning towards "yes." Every time i surf, which is not everyday, I drive home with this strange sense of humble-content-glee. The drive is not a short one, which isn't particularly a bad thing. I chat with my surfer and pursuerers of surfing friends. These folks are of the highest grade of social excellence. Why this is; I can't tell you. For those who don't get wet, you sir are missing out. Surf gulf waves and drink beer. You shall exist quite merry.

what is this, gay poetic sayings club? i think not, surfing is not the american dream, its the texas dream, its a dream cause we want better waves than the *shrimpy* ones we get and that'll just never happen. so, we get so down and gnar on the crap that we got so that when we do get to shred on the finer rides, we can shred it better than the pampered cali bitch next to us. plus it involves drinkin brew with the hombres which is mostly to the benefit of w/e your doing.

criscrox= gay dude who wants to go emotionally in touch with his "universe"

p.s. i love you
