That's an impressive resume!

Are the Obama posters the Warhol looking ones?

Go figure. the one thread i don't pay that much attention to is filled with tons of cool *shrimp*; therefore i now feel obligated to contribute my two cents.
First off, Banksy. Quite possibly the sole entity i can accredit for a cool taste in art. Regardless of that fact, you don't live a mysterious life dedicated to rebellion under a psuedonym to then simply sell out in the worst way. Banksy's work should stay on the side of the waterloo tube stop, not in Brangelina's dining room. Talk about not stickin' to your guns. But this doesn't negate the fact that his work is the epitome of rad. To his work, i say amazing. To the man, i hang my head in shame.
Then there is the equally mind-blowing Shepard Fairey. Although i cannot even begin to describe the feeling i can closely relate to rage when i see a frat daddy sporting the latest line of exclusive Buckle brand Obey, i just cannot condone the man. He went to school to become what he is today; in that meantime he also created what was to be the infant years of Andre the Giant and Obey. In the midst of all this, he just happened to become an icon of cool. I suppose you ould call it unconditional love; just like your kid throwing up on the $3000 hand woven rug, you just cant kick him to the curb.
Yeah, i wrote this all about 5 posts too late, but i couldn;t pass up such a convo without contribution.
