Hey guys,

I am heading out to Pedernales Falls tommorow Sat Feb. 5th for some hiking, skating, and possibly some polar bear style swimming. There are several new neighborhoods that have been built in the area that, when I passed before, looked as though they would have some great skating. It's only 30 miles from austin but takes about 40-50 minutes to drive there so I am hoping we can leave around noon if not before, but we shall c when people wake and get ready to go out. It has been raining pretty good so the falls should be flowing hectic which makes them all the more majestic. Today and tomorrows sun should dry out any wet roads and the weather looks to be perfect for this type of day trip.

Carpools will be arranged, if you want to drive call me or post here and we will try to take as few vehicles as possible or comfortable. Bring $5.00 for entry into the park, and a few bucks gas money is always welcome if you ride with someone. You might also want to grab any snacks, food, or drink you might want to bring as there is no restaurant or store for at least 5 miles away from the park.
